Florida neurologist caught spiking lady's drink with powdery substance - arrested

The dailymail headline is a bit cringy, but what a story.
Dr gets engaged, meets up with on again off again girlfriend who is "hostile" since the engagement, so he spikes her martini with ambien and Xanax while she's in the restroom. He says he just wanted to keep her calm.
He then threatens suicide and tries to sail away north in his boat only to get GPS tracked and arrested in Jupiter FL near Tiger Woods restaurant.
Incident happened in September but the toxicology reports just came back. Some witness at the bar saw him do it and the restaurant staff where they had met grabbed the martini glass and preserved the evidence.

Who knows what that crazy dude was planning once she was knocked out...maybe a one way boat ride. She's lucky someday saw and was willing to call the police. FWIW I think the long time girlfriend looks better.....

I don't see the crime here. Probabaly did every one a favor.
Oh, but put me in the girlfriend looks better than fiance camp. Especially if she is 11 years older. I doubt that pic is of 57. Could be 50 though.

She’s also a hairdresser. Not sure the hot can outweigh the crazy.
