Florida mom loses two sons to COVID in 12 hours

Lisa Brandon of Jacksonville says she regrets not pushing her sons Aaron Jaggi, 35, and Free Jaggi, 41, to get vaccinated before they became infected with the virus in late July, news station WJAX-TV reported.
“I wish I could have made them do it. And now it’s too late,” she told the outlet.
Brandon, who was vaccinated, had a mild case of the virus.
But her sons’ health took a turn for the worse.
She brought them both to the hospital, where they were admitted into the intensive-care unit and ultimately put on ventilators.
Her son, Free, died on Aug. 12, and his younger brother, Aaron, followed 12 hours later.

Legit question. Did they die because they were unvaccinated or because they were morbidly obese? Impossible to determine.
So why doesn't the article mention their alarmingly overweight condition and simply assumes "covid killed them because no vax"?

You know what’s crazy, just about anyone alive realizes this affects fat people and old people more. Can’t do much about being old, but you can about being fat. Yet I still see the same amount of tubby folk. They’ve had 18 months to not be fat.

Yes they were obese which likely contributed but also the fact remains they’d likely still be alive had they been vaccinated.

It’s fairly easy to guess. They died because they were fat asses who were too stupid, or lazy, to get vaccinated.
My money is on lazy!

Does it have to exclusively be one or the other?
They would have had a much better chance living if they were in shape.
But also, if these fatties had gotten vaccinated, they'd very likely be alive right now. After all, mama doesn't look too fit herself, and only had a mild case with the vaccine.
Not that I think it should be mandated by government. Everyone should be free to take their own risks. Just like everyone is free to not take care of their bodies either.

She should urge others to go for a daily 30-60 minute walk outside and cut back on the carbs while she is at it.
