He had an endorsement deal where they were supposed to be pay him if the company hit certain benchmarks and they didn't do so. They claimed most benchmarks were hit after the endorsement deal ended. Jury didn't agree.
This will almost certainly be appealed and settled for far far less.

The contract had milestones that if he reached he would get paid for, he didn't get paid for reaching them among other things.
This is the correct use of the law.

Yeah, and there was also supposedly a 1% ownership part of the contract if certain benchmarks were hit. He rightfully won from what the articles say
