I assume your ex lives in Fairhope or you're just pulling shite out of your arse.
I'm pretty sure it's the latter.

I’ve thought about this a lot the last two years and I would do fairhope. I put an offer on a couple homes in the fruit and nut district. However, Like most people in nola, family, friends and to a lesser extent business keep me here. I do worry I would get a bit bored there socially.

I grew up in Mobile, and lived in Silverhill (between Fairhope and Robertsdale). if i could move back there, I would in a heartbeat. love that area and highly recommend it

the Northshore feels like a different state compared to Nola.

We are in Walker but are seriously looking at pass Christian. Go out that way….we can chip in and start an OT bar/grill where everything is $3.50 and all of the menu items are obviously better in the quad but good enough in P.C. We’ll charge a cover unless the required knuckle check is good. We’ll have a oweo punching bag under a Sonic sign. Am I missing anything

Look at rural Washington state or Colorado

There’s also one pretty well-known movie producer from that area who is convinced he can turn it into a booming production town.

Why stay in one of the worst areas of the country?
First, he said conservative. Second, now name better places.

Fairhope traffic is getting to be as bad as Airport in Mobile. Completely overrun by outsiders.

Where do I move out of state but still remain in the gulf coast area?
Diamondhead is a nice little spot in coastal Mississippi.
Daphne/Fairhope is a place I might move to one day.

Agree there, 181 is the goto N corridor to get to I-10.
The 2 new Publix and commons (Point Clear and East Fairhope at 181) should help a little on the 98 congestion.

North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma, Utah. Never been to Montana, but it seems pretty great.

I bought 100 ac in SW MS with a camp, buying a beach rental next year, and hope to buy a mountain rental a few years after that. I still have a house in Ascension and a business in NOLA. Once my kids are off I hope to just get a small RV, a good dog, maybe a wife, and just bounce around.
