I'm with you. Although the ultra curved bill guy perplexes me too.

I will say it somewhat depends on the style of the hat. Any of those floppy style boating/old man fishing caps look better with a generally flat bill. Just reminds me of my grandpa on the lake.

Any type of more structured baseball hat or trucker hat, definitely curved.

If you haven't seen one yet, Under Armour makes this really great hat, made out of material that is cool, well-vented, absorbent and can be thrown in the washer or rinsed in the shower and hung up to dry. It never loses its shape. I have two of these. Wear them every to work in the yard, hiking, fishing and when out running. Had them for 6+ months and they still look brand new.

I still like my curved bill hat. The flat bill looks weird and nerdy

Gotta go with the curve bill. The flat bill only works if you have a neck tattoo that says "No Ragrets"

I don’t get it either. The best is when you see some 40 something travel ball dad with a flat bill for his kids 10U team.

You have to be hip when Braxtin, Brixton, and Brayton are doing it too!

For me it depends on the hat and use case.

Such as if the hat was something ordered as part of a team or I bought personally.

In short, I have both.

I don't wear flat bills, but a 40-something guy probably grew up with that style since it's been the "trendy" style for over 20 years now.

Has it been that long? I'm approaching mid 40s and don't remember it being a thing that long ago. Maybe i'm just getting old.

His dad should have rightfully come and whooped your arse and fricked your wife while wearing a flat bill

The first time I remember seeing them widely was in the 2001 Little League World Series, with the Puerto Rico team that year. They became more widespread after that.
