Im a progressive lunatic?

There’s plenty of evidence supporting this. We can start with your lies and histrionics about the covid “vaccine” and hospital statistics if youd like.

Maybe if you read the thread, you could have seen my post saying I SUPPORT THE BILL.

I also saw you spewing the same nonsense as your fellow progressive lunatics about what’s actually in the bill.

simply wish the hash out one specific part of it regarding guidance counselors

Great. That must mean you’re ready to answer where, specifically, the bill states parents can opt out of kids telling counselors they are being abused.

This is what you are supporting.

Kingsolver, 49, is one of at least 35 Disney employees arrested since 2006 and accused of sex crimes involving children, trying to meet a minor for sex, or for possession of child pornography, according to a six-month CNN investigation that examined police and court records, and interviewed law enforcement officials and some of the men who have been arrested.

This was back in 2014. Just recently 4 employees were arrested on sex trafficking.

Sounds like this must also be a windfall for Disney if suddenly taxpayers will be anteing up. Disney must be thrilled with this, right?

This is my thought as well. If this was such a great benefit to Disney, they would have insisted it be changed decades ago.

Which honestly, wil likely happen. Politicians get there win this week, and in a year or so when nobody cares Disney gets their special district back

Bill doesn’t even take effect until June of 2023. They’ll pass it for political theater and then quietly come to an agreement to let Disney keep the district before next year

I find it hard to believe the state doesn’t have some way to offset that.

It’s state law when a government entity is dissolved, the county or counties that entity is domiciled takes over its assets and liabilities. This district straddles Orange and Osceola counties so they are on the hook for the liabilities, while also obtaining their assets. The state wasn’t involved in the bond issue. They could work out some arrangement with the counties to take on that debt, but the money to pay them still has to come from somewhere. The bond holders aren’t going to just forget about those bonds.

The only thing this deal is good for is DeSantis’s political ambitions.

I think you are a liberal idiot, and I like Desantis a lot and can’t wait for him to be president, but this particular episode is not good for anyone besides politicians. Disney is losing its mind with how it’s running itself, but this is just grandstanding political theatre

Sure. You were happy to lie about hospitals numbers and the effectiveness of the vaccine simply because you thought sitting in staff meetings as an analyst at oschner made you some kind of expert.

Do you no longer “simply wish the hash out one specific part of it regarding guidance counselors” progressive lunatic?

Improvement districts and development districts are quasi jurisdictional governments that allow developers to sell bonds to pay for infrastructure instead of the developers paying (lots of restrictions on what can be included). Now it will just be setup as a special tax district to repay them. I expect it will be negotiated where the burden is about the same. The main difference is now the district will have to follow the same rules and regulations the rest of the county has to follow.

Should have included - when you purchase a homesite in the development you also start paying your equal share of the bond. So HOA fee, sports membership, bond payment, etc.

Disney already pays state and local taxes, $780 million last year.

So what was the benefit to Disney before the change? Appears to be a big one, considering the outcry from the far left.

Well all the progs are suddenly concerned about the added burden put upon Florida taxpayers. If Floridians are paying more then it Seems like Disney must be paying less.

Reedy Creek (Disney) is a self-governing special tax district. They have something like a billion in bond obligations. Just because Reedy Creek goes away doesn’t mean the debt magically disappears. It is absorbed by the area where the tax district existed, which is the county. So now those county taxpayers are on the hook.

NOPE!

There are many ways to get this done. In the end, the people of that area will pay less for somethings like electricity etc..

In the end, the counties will have more revenue.... unless they choose not to.

Please post the lies. I’m ready for them. Where were all the lying stats I posted from the hospital. You loved my threads early in the pandemic when I posted census detail and showed how bullshite covid was and the media narrative, but once I posted census data on the vaccine it became “lies and I’m just a analyst staff sitting in on meetings”

Maybe take a look at yourself and who held the “lies” there.

Have you ever had to deal with the government to get something built? Being able to bypass all of that and control it yourself when you are as large as Disney is a massive advantage
