You have to think long term though. Once it is legalized nation wide, whether that be in 10 years or 100 years, the amount of companys who still test for it will most likely drop to zero.

Do you see companys testing for alcohol or tobacco?

They will test for booze depending on your job, absolutely. Accountant, no, heavy machinery worker, yes. Same for weed.

Federal regulations require the testing in oil and gas industry so companies have no control over that.

I do see alcohol testing. If you are involved in any type of on the job accident the first thing you do is take a drug and alcohol test
