you are a bit fuzzy on why employers do the test it seems.
Very few want to do drug test for pot, their liability insurance requires it.

Voters said YES in 3/5 states on the ballot, with Maine a probable YES as well once 100% of precincts report. The only failure was Arizona. Several states either voted in or expanded medical as well.

What is Trump's stance on weed? Will he leave the states alone? Have DEA reschedule? Have DEA go after weed businesses?

Early 90s Trump wanted to end the war on drugs, to try to eliminate the cartels.
Now, he's against recreational marijuana, but spoke in favor of medical marijuana. I'm hoping it was just election talk.

I'm about to leave Louisiana just to be able to go somewhere so I can use weed as medication and be able to work while using it. I hate our laws

Technically, doesn't really today yet. It depends on your industry. But it's is one that receives any federal funding, the Fed's are the ones the require testing, not the insurance companies.

Yeah. LA sucks.
Hopefully trump leads the push for medical. But I'm sure pretty much nothing will get done at a higher level as usual.

-public health
-public safety
-tax revenue
-jobs creation
-agricultural husbandry R&D
things its bad for:
-pharmaceutical companies
-for-profit incarceration
-the war on drugs infrastructure & bureaucracy
-police/law enforcement budgets

tell your state representatives, senators and your governor that this issue is important to you. do not accept the stereotype of the stoner just wanting legal weed to stay high and eat funyuns
i am fifty years old, a business owner, an employer and within my market a significant contributor to the economy. i smoke regularly for debilitating back pain, as does my wife as a substitute for methotrexate. it would be nice if i didnt have to break the law to do so

I think it lowers productivity. I'm against recreational use… And I am for limited medical use not mandated by the federal government, but permitted by the federal government."
Unfortunately, this means if the next President of the United States is Donald Trump and he appoints Chris Christie to take over as Attorney General, the four states that have legalized marijuana for recreational purposes stand a relatively good chance at being forced to shut down. Also, states like Arizona, California, Maine, and Massachusetts, all seeking to legalize in 2016 through ballot measures, those developments, if passed by the voters, could be forbade to even take effect under a Trump regime. In short, the cannabis industry is in serious jeopardy. As it stands, the federal government simply considers statewide legalization an “experiment,” and there are no laws in place to stop the next administration from bringing it all to a screeching halt.
