Inconvenient truth.... The more we talk about mental health, the worse our collective mental health becomes.
It wasnt this way back in my day and you rarely saw suicides.

We live in the most insane "have it all" culture in human history. -Be entrepreneur yet also a super expert -Be extremely glamorous but also deep and humble -Be super insanely intelligent and academically accomplished but also super athletic and attractive -Have lots and lots of friends but also tons of super deep super fulfilling relationships -Have a super attractive and bombshell spouse but also they're super down to earth and humble with a deep #relationshipgoals image -Be super career focused and have tons of business ventures but also you're the #1 parent and shining start of modern parenting -Travel the world and have a family and be super career successful and be good looking and be super deep and wise and etc.etc. It's insane the things people contort themselves into becoming because the culture tells them it's the ideal. It's hard to keep up with image-obsessed insanity.
Agree, and then on the opposite end of the spectrum you have being an alcoholic, being obese, being a meth head or just being a stone cold loser and other undesirable traits… i think the key is to try to be somewhere in the middle and not fall into one of those traps, which is not always easy .

Yes it was, and yes you did…. Maybe you weren’t old enough to realize it, and maybe the news didnt broadcast as much about it, and maybe we didnt have social media to hear about it like in this case- but suicides have always been way too common .

If that’s his picture, how is he only 31. It looks like it was taken at Gilleys in 1978.

Protip: Bullets to the head are not healthy.

In some ways yes. I believe how connected we are now is shedding light on different aspects of society that have always existed.

It seems like at least 1 or 2 of these so called influencers kick the bucket every week.
