I think I’ll have to go with the Apple Watch.

Did you upgrade the Fitbit?
I did that and it works ok. But, now it autostarts some timer when I'm out running / biking. Gotta get rid of that next.

<——Former Fitbitter hardcore activity for 4+ years
As an iPhone user, it felt like a lateral move as to capabilities but seamless integration via using the Apple Watch. Mrs Füt (no pics) is still fighting to swim upstream with a Fitbit tied to an iPhone.
I’ve bought her an Apple Watch when I converted about six years ago. It’s still new in-box and she has become really really expert at cussing at Fitbit, Google and Apple.
Battery life sucks with an Apple Watch. No debate. And I always immediately close apps and it still sucks. The watch setting to automatically enable the Low Power mode on it when I run (or any exercise) helps a “bit”.
Good luck in your choice, I think I’d go Garmin if I had to choose another option than Apple.

Had a Fitbit since 2015. Bought an Apple Watch 2 years ago but didn’t like its tracking compared to my Fitbit at the time. Charging the Apple watch now and will give it a go. Can’t do anything with the Charge so f it.

I moved to a Garmin Vivoactive because I was having all kinds of issues with my Fitbit after Google took over. Like it much better than my old Fitbit.

Was able to get it to sync finally after resets and deletes. Still going to try out the Apple Watch though. Thx for responses.

Worst thing to happen to office workers. Walking to the bathroom should count as loggable exercise.
No, you shouldn’t skip the gym this afternoon because you walked enough to the kitchen today.
