State Rep. Reggie Bagala, R-Lockport, was 54. Former lawmaker Marty Chabert announced Bagala’s death, citing information provided to him by Bagala’s son, Tristan.
Bagala is the first member of the Louisiana Legislature to die from the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

Shortly before being hospitalized, Bagala had filed a bill that authorized the creation of license plates commemorating the Louisiana State University football team’s national championship..

Reggie was a poster here. I met him off a post I saw on ticket exchange for the West Virginia game in WV I bought his tix. Great dude.
