They should let a millenial buy Reggie’s so we can finally start the healing towards millenial reparations

I'll be honest, I giggled at this.

Yep, he already tented the entire parking lot. Just double up the bar space now. Fred’s is always packed now

While serving 18 year olds is definitely illegal, not sure why so many pitch forks turned to Reggie’s specifically.

they regularly flew too close to the sun and got 3rd degree burns this time

that's usually what happens when you brazenly break the law for decades and someone dies

I’ve been served underaged beverages in that establishment more times than I can count… the glory days of 15 years ago

this was a solid "academic" excuse for an invite to girls' dorm rooms. it was WAY easier to get in early, before classes filled, from campus versus off.

on balance, i'd gladly go back to the low-tech days.

in the mid 80's it was Sports Illustrated. Before Sports it was Punch n Munch which was an arcade game room and other area that served food & sammiches.

I remember when they used to play porn on the shitty tube TVs in there after midnight back in the day.

For decades Reggie’s has been known as the bar to go to when under 21. Reputations don’t grow overnight and they don’t last forever when untrue. So if they have that reputation for a reason which is an illegal reason, why allow it to continue if it’s against the law.

I was at Club Reginald's almost every night my freshman year. Have many storys about my Excursions back to Herget after a night out.

The best use of space is to turn the entire Reggie's into a bathroom, Buccees-style. No more lines or port-o-lets in the parking lot.

Just spitballing here, but maybe it has something to do with them severely overserving an underage female which led to her getting raped and run over by a car?

I think the focus needs to be squarely on the young men. This is far more their fault than it is the bars.
