Ywah, I'm sure an upper respiratory illness probably wouldn't bode well for someone with asthma

I'll acknowledge it's worse than a cold, but this is the exact type of reporting that will just scare everyone they may die

man, so now I'm worried...

I did smoke for a long time but havent for years. I also have asthma, but only have a flair up from time to time...

I've never been overweight, weigh 170 and am 5'11" and I also run like 8 miles a week or so... hope I dont get this shite. first i've read about asthma being a deal, although I always sort of assumed, it being a respiratory illness and all

That's a major point. I'm asthmatic since birth and I honestly don't know if I could survive it. I'm 48.

Pediatric asthma patients are going to turn some cynical meme posting anti-vaxx moms into some hypocritical Thoughts, Prayers and #MacKynliStrong bitches with the quickness.

He had one of the underlying medical conditions that made him susceptible to severe symptoms. It is not indicative of how severe symptoms will present with the vast majority of people who contract Covid19

This might deserve its own thread, but what portion of the population doesn't have:

Obesity
Diabetes
Cardiovascular disease
Lung disease
Asthma

The majority of Americans have one or more of the conditions above.

How are they going to fare?

What is the point of posting this? To cause people to panic and worry?
