Same here with the wife.

I'm in SC.

ETA: Good luck. We just finished our "birthing class" at the hospital. The process does not look very enjoyable.

Good luck to yours too! Yeah we finished that class a couple of weeks ago. She started hyperventilating and I don't blame her. I couldn't do it...

It's just shite. My son is two and I've changed numerous shite diapers. Not one has made me gag and he's had some good ones. Already has man farts too. I'm so proud.

Yep. F changing someone else's kid's diaper. I ain't doing that.

Even though I don't mind changing one of my kid's diapers, I still try to hand off to the wife and tell her I have something to do that's pressing

you learn real quick. I actually do all the poop diapers, doesn't bother me at all now.

If it does, then you don't deserve to have a child, nor the "equipment" you allegedly used to create one.

Already making excuses for not wanting to help with a kid....Sad excuse, man.

Depends on what is in the diaper. There are varying degrees of number 2's. I had a very week stomach, but you kind of get used to it. If it's too bad, just put them in the tub and wash it away.

if you're having a boy, make sure you're quick with the cleanup

whenever fresh air hit my son's junk it was like a "time to pee" button was pressed and he would just start pissing everywhere.

the faster you clean up, the faster you get the new diaper on there to block that stream.

Why didn't you just cover it with a wash cloth?

No, but pretend it does and put on the new diaper wrong every time. She will eventually quit asking you to do it.

What are you talking about? I am not making an excuse not to help, it was a freaking question.

Not sure how asking a question speaks to my "deserving" to have a child.

sometimes we did, but the pee would still get on whatever surface we were changing him on

best way to defeat the pee is just changing him with the quickness

Change all the diapers you can before the baby starts eating real food. That's when they get bad.

Newborns on breastmilk, not at all. Once they get older and start eating prepared food, yes and it gets worse until the end.

My daughter is 4 months old and I have been pretty lucky so far. Aside from a little shite riding up her back onto the onesie, my wife has had all of the bad blowouts.

Never changed a diaper before we had her, so I just hit the ground running. In the early days, you are so tired and running on fumes, you just change quickly and dont even think about it.

Although, we just started with the rice cereal a few days ago and she has the most repulsive smelling shite and farts at the moment.

Another bad smell that gets me is the "milk neck".
