The other day, he was bouncing then he stopped to poo. Wife looks at me and says "You want it?" I told her to take it. Turns out it was basically a nugget. An hour later, he drops the real deal and she looks at me and says "Ive already had my turn today." It was a gross one.

I used to hold my breath. You get used to it after some months though. It was easy with my son, but when I had to change my daughter, I use to use half of a pack of baby wipes every time because you have to be more cautious with baby girls. I hated it.

My dog eats EVERYTHING and sometimes a turd will get stuck on the way out and she FREAKS OUT. I have to find a stick to try to knock it off

yeah, that sucks. You have to pick your battles.

The best are when they poop and you smell it after they have bouncing on their arse for five minutes.

I don't think my wife would go for that.

Does it make you gag every time?

Poop in the hospital is more like tar and doesn't smell. Its really not bad while they are on a liquid diet.

But that first one on baby food..... Hole. E. Sheet.

Yeah, the worst. They know it too. I'll pick her up and she gets this little smile and I'm like "You little a-hole". Brings meaning to the term shite eating grin

Well, my wife doesn't work so we have come to an agreement that if she gets to stay home then I don't have to change shitty diapers. It's worked out so far.

We have a "Diaper Genie". I told my wife that apparatus was staying in the garage.

We have one from our first child. Hardly used it since we had it in the nursery/playroom upstairs and we slept downstairs. Now with child 2 we are upstairs and it is in out bedroom. It works pretty well. But still most diaper changes are downstairs.

if you're having a boy, make sure you're quick with the cleanup

whenever fresh air hit my son's junk it was like a "time to pee" button was pressed and he would just start pissing everywhere.

the faster you clean up, the faster you get the new diaper on there to block that stream.

Good luck with that working out for 2-3 years. My wife quit her job as well but I never intended to not change diapers. Wait till your kid is around 2 or so and watch him/her for a few hours while your wife leaves. You'll understand she works much harder than you do

Plus my wife is preggers now so I'm gonna be working double duty in a few months when she gets pregger belly

Cid, what day is your wife due? Son is due Mar 9 (roughly 4 weeks). I too have zero experience in changing a diaper.
