Congrats man and I know the feeling. My wife is 7 months with her 4th pregnancy and this will be our first. We are stoked and everything seems to be going healthy for us too. Have a great day

Congrats. Best advice I can give, enjoy it. It's the greatest gift we are ever given.

Any and all pointers appreciated!
It goes fast so cherish as much as you can.
Put the phone down and get down on the floor and play with them when they ask because one day they will outgrow that and won't ask anymore (and it will destroy you inside).

My first will be 6mths next week.
First 6 to 8 weeks are tough and will test you and your wife. It’s short term and goes by quick, so just be there to help each other.
My girl is a dream. We did some sleep training and she’s been sleeping 8hrs at 3mths old and 10-12hrs a night ever since then.
It has started to get fun at about 4mths when she started smiling a lot and showing some personality
I never realized how selfish of a person I was when I was childless, and now I generally don’t care to do those hobbies that I blew everything off for before.
It’s stressful but so much fun when the baby is having a good time.

Don't worry about what everyone thinks just raise them to know right from wrong and be good people. Don't be too hard on yourself thinking you're failing as a parent ever. As long as that baby has a smile and the essentials you're doing a great job. Most importantly don't blink. They go from being able to almost fit in the palm of your hand to grown almost overnight.
Congrats to you and the Mrs.

Congratulations! Other than the great advice already given I would add don't buy anything nice for the next 10-15 years. Those curtain crawlers can destroy anything and everything!

Teach em that the most important thing in life is their relationship with God. Other than that stay involved and have a lot of fun times with them. That’s what they want. Congratulations!

Congrats, my advice is don't ever wish/want for them to get older, enjoy ever little step along the way (even the diffcult parts).
The little things are the most important to your child. Another thing, take lots of pictures eaiser to delete them or throw them out later than wish you had captured it in the moment.
Good luck and most importantly be there for the baby and your wife (she is going to be crazy for about three years, post partum is real), just go with the flow.

Enjoy! Best feeling in the world. And the anxiety/panic in the following days is normal. It’s a huge adjustment knowing you now are responsible for another human life.

Congrats!!

Advice, enjoy every possible moment. They go fast
Man that is too true.
I was walking into Mass Sunday and a mom was unloading kids and across the parking lot she hollers at one of the boys around 8 I’d say “tucking your shirt”. I could tell it was one of those mornings before church at their house.
As I sat in Mass alone I was thinking how much I miss the chaos of trying to get everyone out the door on time. Strange I know, but I’d love to have one more Sunday morning where the girls shirt was wrinkled, her hair wouldn’t do “it”, my sons can’t find clean pants, etc.
I miss that.

Congratulations. Rainbow babies are special. All babies are, but after a loss/losses they seem even more so.
Be ready for your world to turn upside down. Things that you never imagined would be funny will crack you up. Things you never thought would bother you will turn you into a blubbering pile of jelly.
