Me too. Are you taking a boat to Blue Mountain?

This is all around Milton (North Pensacola area) They said on news last night was actually 3 or 4 active fires with largest being 2000 acres. and only 20% contained and expected to get worse due to dryness and low humidity, but nothing on 12:00 news so maybe it’s over

Supposed to head to BlMountain Beach next month. The reports say that several structures were destroyed on Thompson Rd (which runs next to the Santa Rosa golf course). One report said there was a fire by Stinky’s. Thus, It is not accurate to say its all up around Milton.

. It was an agricultural control burn that they lost control off. That is called the Five Mile Swamp Fire in Santa Rosa. They are doing news report on it now. Last night they were all focused on Milton area. There were 3 to 4 separate fires

Think he's talking about the South Walton fire. Which from what I heard this morning burned several houses between 98 and 30A above Blue Mountain/Oyster Lake area but didn't get down to the Hwy.

Last I heard they were letting everyone go home who wasn't in the area above 98 or south (Thompson Road).

The Walton county (Santa Rosa Bewch area)has been contained. Stinkys is fine and did not burn down.

The Milton fire in Santa Rosa County, not Santa Rosa beach, is a much bigger fire and currently has I-10 closed.

Milton = Five Mile Swamp Fire (2,000 acres)
Pace = Acy Lowery Fire (70 acres)
Pensacola = Hurst Hammock (335 acres)
Santa Rosa Beach (Walton County) = Mussett Bayou Fire (575 acres)

Acreage is as of most recent updates.

Unrelated to the fire, but Roy Jones Jr. lives in the Milton area.
He lives northwest of Pace, on Quintette Road. His house has the gamecocks on the gate.

My mother and sister (the stripper/truck driver) had to evacuate. Got two blocks from my sister's house and about a half mile from mother's.

I know of 20 homes in the Santa Rosa Beach fire in Walton County. They are reporting around 30. The word is burning illegal substances caused the fire. Arrest should be made today.

The fire in Milton got several, they said. Mother hasn't confirmed yet that her's and my sister's are safe, but they looked to be okay from the map.

That fire was a proscribed burn that got out of hand.

His house is fine. He’s actually neighbors with my childhood friend’s dad. My friend’s dad posted a picture yesterday of him watching the smoke across the bay from his pier.
