No. It was off property

It started as a series of brawls on site. As the brawls made their way off the premises, gunfire occurred right outside. I’m sure the gun was retrieved from a vehicle, but don’t minimize the situation. If you took your children to six flags yesterday, you could have easily been in the line of fire.

I'm not minimizing it, and I know the story. But the question was asked if there was gunfire on campus. And the answer to that is NO.

But you are right in that he probably had the gun on him inside the park.

Just trying to be fair. That's all. Six Flags needs to clean up it's act.

And I haven't been to Six Flags in probably close to 25 years.

Several people said entry security procedures were not followed so although the shooting took place outside the gates, the people were running from the park so they likely had a gun in the park

These uncivilized ruin everything. It’s too bad they are protected and good people can’t handle business on their own if confronted.

The headline is about the yute shot by police officer- not that the yutes were carrying and firing weapons at each other and the police officers.

Went to a private day (Atlanta Area Credit Unions) at six flags with my kids about 8 years ago, it was very fun. Great park if you like coasters. I would not go on a day where the general public was allowed.

These theme parks need to do away with the Season Pass. Latchkey parents just use it as a cheap babysitter and "youths" use it as a more interesting and safer place to go engage in mischief and crime. Like 99% of the problem visitors are just roaming around there every day on a cheap season pass. Cut them out of the equation and a lot more suburban families with disposable income will show up.

Don’t have to worry about the anti-gun media jumping on this story. The skin color of the perpetrators doesn’t fit their narrative.

Only 13% of the U.S. population yet they commit 55% of all gun violence cases.
