If you step through this video, that car goes about one car length every two steps. Assuming the video is 30 fps and the length of the car is about 14 feet, that puts his speed at 143 mph.

And they're reporting that the driver of the Mercedes survived with critical injuries. Unbelievable. Saw a tweet that said it was a woman driving the Mercedes, but haven't seen it confirmed yet.

No, it veered off to the left. The two cars on fire were the ones it plowed in to.
