Prolly full of beans & Rice fans, in general.

They are saying a big gust of wind made it stall and crash. Seems like a head scratcher reason to say the least

At least they can still vote in the midterms

A big gust of wind caused the pan am crash in kenner... also delta flight 191 at dfw years ago.

They’re working in ways to get over that wall. It’s coming. We have to stay vigilant.

A strong wind gust brought down an Aeromexico plane carrying 103 people in northern Mexico, leading to a fiery crash that left dozens aboard injured but no fatalities, Durango state officials say.
Plot twist - the plane only seated 78

Interestingly enough, tomorrow is the 33rd anniversary of that crash.

But years ago though, would it happen in the USA? We have planes that fly into freaking hurricanes, seems odd a gust of wind would knock an airliner down but I know freak things happen.

I flew in a plane once that didn't crash. All survived. One of the scariest days of my life.

We didn't have wind shear detection systems back then. These shitty pilots did.

Were they working.... did they follow procedure? You would be amazed at how many crashes are because of 1 mistake or oversight.

not as bad at altitude as they are on the surface, also don't top out that high

it's a little more than that, re: DA191 & PA759

The Rev. Esequiel Sanchez felt apprehensive even before his flight took off from the city of Durango around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, en route to Mexico City. It began raining as the jetliner taxied down the runway. The downpour got stronger and stronger.
He was surprised that the plane took off. “I had a feeling it would be a bumpy ride,” he recalled.
As the plane began its ascent, Father Sanchez noticed from his window seat, 1D, that the visibility had gone to zero. Then the plane plunged. The passengers screamed.
He was not certain they were going to die, he recalled, but he was “getting ready for it.”
He silently prayed: “God, come to our aid. Secondly, forgive us, and everyone on the plane.”
Moments later, the plane hit the ground, nose-first.
