This and it’s just being respectful.

Being polite to females should be an asset that every man should have. If a man works with attractive women, his hormones are going to kick in and he is going to lose his mind. He is going to have sex with her if given an opportunity.

It’s all about the married woman. Does her husband trust her to work with powerful businessmen ? Keep your wife happy so she doesn’t have a reason to cheat.

I think there is a vast difference between opening a door for someone in an office and opening a car door.

Opening a regular door for a women is just common courtesy, and I would do it for anyone.

Opening and closing a car door for a female is to me an intimate thing. It is DEFINITELY a romantic gesture and not "courtesy".

higher position of authority and takes your wife or significant other out to lunch, conversation flows, business gets mixed up with pleasure talk and you happen to see him open and close the car door for your wife or significant other, do you let this bother you?

Or do you expect your wife or significant other to be treated this way all the time, by anyone they have a relationship (business) with?

Said another way, as a male, do you open and close the car door for any female that you work with when going somewhere with them?

I don’t open car doors for women. But I do open other doors for them out of courtesy.

Business can get mixed with personal fairly easily depending on what kind of work you do. I don’t monitor her behavior or tell her what to do or what not to do. We all know when we’re crossing a line. She knows where the lines are and so do I.

Any dude out there is fine to hit on my wife. That’s natural. It’s her job to tell dudes to F off. If I didn’t want dudes to look at my wife or to hit on her, I would have married an ugly broad. I’m not going to try to convince her to not cross lines. That’s her call. If she wants to be with someone else, she’s free to go. It would frick me up for a while but I’d find someone younger and hotter within a few days. That doesn’t necessarily mean I’d be happy, but I also wouldn’t be happy being with someone who doesn’t want to be with me. Generally speaking I don’t base my happiness on other people. That’s something that comes from within.

Overall, we both know not to be stupid because we both know the other person has options.

I don't even open the car door for my wife.

Who wants to sit in a hot car by herself as I walk around to the driver side door?

You may want to look at adding or upgrading to remote start. It's a great feature to have on any vehicle today.

This. Gotta watch your behavior around women in the workplace now.

Will deff look into that for my next vehicle. Especially here in Texas.

I do have proximity key and push to start, which is great because I never have to take the keys out of my pocket.

Key has to be in the car. It's in my pocket. She is also fully capable of opening her own door.

1st question I'd have is, does he normally open car doors for women? I agree, I open doors for women routinely and honestly everyone. If I'm in a group and toward the front, I always open the door and hold it.

Car door would be very weird unless he's someone that does it all the time. I rarely open it for my wife, I will if we are on a date or something AND her door is closest AND I think about it. But me opening the door for another random female outside of my daughter, mom, in-laws, etc. would be very odd.

But some guys do do things like open doors for women routinely and that's to all women.

I don’t know will, this seems fishy

I’m a gentleman IRL. When my wife and I are on dates, I always make it a point to open and close the car door for her.

On the flip side, I’ve been to places with some of my friends SOs before (grocery shopping before parties, etc) and never once have I even considered opening their door for them. I’ve always considered that a romantic gesture for some reason...

Opening actual doors for females is expected.

Opening the car door for one you work with is for sure a weird move. Not sure how anyone would think otherwise.
