Don't send your kids to LSU.

I love LSU but I'll probably encourage the youngest one to go to school elsewhere in a few years so she doesn't have to live in BR.

I'm an alumnus and I will always love my time at LSU. But I've done as much as I possibly can to persuade my children to go somewhere - ANYWHERE else.

All the shite in Tigerland, including the bars, needs to be burned and razed and built from scratch. Police presence needs to be insanely heavy. And a mounted patrol on campus, ehh frick it, why not?

But that's white supremacist thinking.

I can’t say I disagree. I do believe we are all delaying the inevitable and final exodus from this state. Tell you what I wouldn’t do with kids. I wouldn’t encourage them to put their roots down here long term, not if you love them and their quality of life long term is important to you.

I disagree. Everything west of Baton rouge is doing fairly well, weather permitting.

Living in the sticks of the tri-parish area, You don't run into a god damn thing and only venture into the cities and towns for what you need.

I pity those who live in BR and Nola though. 7 years of BR was enough for me.

Good chance my younglings were going to go to Tech anyway, but I’d feel like I was putting them in danger sending them to BR or Nola. Ruston has its downsides, but 350 carjackings in a week ain’t one.

My kid is a lot further off... but unless BR gets its shite together, I can't see encouraging him to go to LSU.

You can also thank shitty developers and the permitting authorities who allowed an obscene amount of apartments to be built that can't be supported by the student population so what happens? The trash fills the demand.

And these places are STILL going up!

Briefly lived in apartment off of Ben Hur in 2013, and it was already starting to get sketch then. Can't imagine how it is now.

The friends are right. She should have just refused. They can’t legally take your stuff without your permission, otherwise they are breaking a law.

Good news is they were wearing their masks.

Doing their part, because it takes all of us.

JBE is proud of them.

I bet they even warshed their hands.
