8 ounce can of tomato sauce. 8 oz can of paste. 24 oz can of whole tomatoes. small bag of macaroni arms. small block of cheddar cheese.
Mix and heat the sauces. Heat the arms and toss it in the sauce. Cut the cheese and stir it in.
Our poor family called it Slop Slop.
You can have 15 dollars back.

Every cajun dish that doesn’t involve seafood. You’ll just need to make you’re own stock from the whole chicken and limit it to cheap sausage.

Lentil soup
1 lb dried lentils
1 large onion, diced
2-3 celery stalks, diced
2-3 carrots, diced
14 oz can crushed tomatoes
1/4 cup olive oil
12 cups water
1 T dried oregano
1/4 t crushed red pepper
Salt and pepper
Saute vegetables in olive oil over medium heat until onions are translucent.
Add everything else and bring to a boil. If you have beef, chicken, or vegetable bouillon, feel free to add some.
Cover and reduce to a simmer for 45 mins. Adjust seasoning and serve with good bread. The soup is also good with a splash of red or white wine vinegar.
Assuming you have the olive oil and spices on hand, this will serve 8+ people for next to nothing.

Depends on how big and what you’re putting in it.
1lb sausage
1lb chicken
1lb Boston butt
I use several cartons of chicken broth
Fixins, etc
Rice
In some cases I could see you busting.
Could I do it? Yes. Is it the best way? No.
