Chances are she didn’t get a degree. That $80k was basically a subsidized vacation of several years until she hit the hours cap and they stopped loaning her money.

i was curious about that. in the past they would name the degree, but they didn't here. maybe it's like how they leave out suspect descriptions b/c it became a meme and a "tool of the Alt-right" or whatever catch phrase dujour is going around

Why couldn't you work if you were a writer?
That's one job it seems you could do anywhere. I've never written a novel..but it seems you dont need a large city to do it.
When I was in Portland last, there were a large amount of tents set up on city sidewalks. Next to roads, in-city 4 way stops etc. If an automonile accident happens, they're fricked and probably wouldnt see it coming.
I think they still have that "Safe Sleep Policy" which Legalizes Homeless Camping in Portland, Oregon

So, she's learned an important lesson: Set your withholding correctly, you'll make money (or have it available all year) and not wait for that "windfall" (meaning, you've loaned the gubmint money, interest free for 14, 16 months) every year.
Welcome to the Republican Party!
(And, pay your student loans and this wouldn't be a problem.)

I’d argue that less distractions are better. Allows you to focus and not be drawn away by the world.
Of course she’s probably a shite writer anyway, a blathering blog of balderdash chock full of xe’s and xir’s and other made up nonsense.
Can you imagine a SJW novelist having all her characters state their preferred pronouns and then trying to keep track of and make sense of that while reading?
I found one article that used that nonsense and couldn’t finish it despite it being on subject matter that interested me

$2,795, which represents six weeks of income for the typical family in the U.S.,
This seems to be some bad math.
$500 a week is $26k a year. The median and mean household income are all well, well, well above $26k.

Sounds like they need someone with a flamethrower.

Yeah, I tried finding some of her work. Didnt lead to anything. Some little girl who is missing has the same name, so it takes up all the hits.
No books, blog, vlog, comics or column

Yep. The power of compounding interest or the power of negating compounding interest.

I have news for you.
They already are via welfare, food stamps, and EIC on her tax filing each year

One of the side stories is even worse:
The person says she needs her check so she can pay off her car and send her 4 kids to summer camp.
While a loan is in default.

Patterson stopped reading. One thing mattered now. The single mother would not receive her $3,063 tax "refund", including her child tax credit. The government would instead apply the money to her past-due student loan account.

Just another gem from Obama federalizing the student loan business.
