At least the rain will be overnight but yeah, tomorrow is going to be fricking cold. Dropping us to the mid 30s by sunrise and a lovely 10-15 mph Northwest wind.
I'm sure the Chicago people on here are laughing at my "fricking cold".

Maybe a mix at the end and no accumulating precip isn't a sexy forecast to get the eyeballs.

What are the chances any school parishes in or around BR play it safe? Maybe a delay?

0%...I'd say they would still have school even if there were slight snow in the forecast

At most, I can see a delay. The temp will not get to freezing so anything that does fall will melt away. It wouldn't be too surprising if a school delays until 10 am or so but really I doubt it is necessary. If it happens it will be out of caution and to cover their arse.

Duke, do you know what's about to happen here in Buffalo? Everyone keeps saying blizzard tuesday night/wednesday but I just want to know if I need to stock up on food and alcohol

That is always a good idea no matter the forecast.

are you getting raptured tomorrow?
if that answer is no... then the answer to the original question is yes

These forecasts sound like the rapture is coming. I'll make a trip to wegmans today I guess

Why do you live up there?
It's not only freezing but it's also one of the places with the least sunlight in the country

Yea that's what I figured, but I've also seen them cancel for a lot less. I can remember one year when almost every school in BR was closed because of a TS that I don't think even touched the state. It was sunny the entire day, not a cloud in the sky. The only thing I could potentially see happening is a delay just because of the timing - around 5-7 AM which is when most buses are picking up kids.

Do you need a blizzard to get more booze? I'll do a deep dive into Buffalo and NE in a little while but the low is tracking your way and there's some epic cold on the western edge. I'd expect you're in for a snowy windy and fricking cold next couple of days.

I'd take 115 degree heat index anyday over that
