quote:

The coronavirus is spreading at dangerous levels across much of the United States, and public health experts are demanding a dramatic reset in the national response, one that recognizes that the crisis is intensifying and that current piecemeal strategies aren't working.

quote:

Another report from the Association of American Medical Colleges offered a similarly blunt message: "If the nation does not change its course - and soon - deaths in the United States could be well into the multiple hundreds of thousands."

quote:

The country is exhausted, but the virus is not. It has shown a consistent pattern: It spreads opportunistically wherever people let down their guard and return to more familiar patterns of mobility and socializing. When communities tighten up, by closing bars or requiring masks in public, transmission drops.

quote:

There are fewer and fewer places where anybody can assume the virus is not there," Gov. Mike DeWine, R, of Ohio said Wednesday. "It's in our most rural counties. It's in our smallest communities. And we just have to assume the monster is everywhere. It's everywhere."

To be clear, I’ve never said that this virus is a hoax or that it isn’t real. Statistics easily reveal the demographic that it poses a real threat to, however. The motive of these kinds of articles is very clear, and unnecessary imo.

Supposedly all this started from 1 case, so of course we should all social distance & wear masks for the next 5 years in hopes of getting the # of cases down to 1 (although it’ll never happen). An illness with a 99.8% survivability rate is simply too deadly, so we need to shut down the entire economy & cause millions to be out of work and homeless to combat something that many of us have already been exposed to without even knowing it. I don’t mind if someone loses their job, as long as they’re not exposing me to something I’ll absolutely, at some point, become exposed to. It’s worth it for my comfort for them to lose their home.

People who think we should be exposed to something with about the same mortality rate as the flu are simply ignorant and need to educate themselves. It’s much safer to cause economic damage while waiting years for a vaccine rather than allowing our immune system to develop a resistance. People who don’t wear masks and socially distance are LITERALLY committing murder.

No. Stop it. You sound ignorant and, quWhite frankly, a bit racist. Dr. Fauci is going to develop a vaccine with Joe Biden that won’t require the vaccine being introduced to our body. If you don’t believe that, you ain’t black.

Let’s just stay inside and not go out in public until all viruses including the common cold are eradicated from this earth

Didn’t the CDC recently revise the death rate down to .4%? Why no talk of that?

Between the crazy Bill Gates conspiracies and push to shut down an entire economy *cough*ELECTION*cough*, it is so aggravating sorting through the BS news pushes out nowadays.

Plus we all know articles like this will magically change if Biden wins the election.
