Still emergency use vs “approved”

ETA down voters

The issuance of an EUA is different than an FDA approval (licensure) of a vaccine, in that a vaccine available under an EUA is not approved.

Sadly, there’s just a silly amount of people not getting the vaccine.

They need to just make it first come first serve. If the at risk populations haven’t got it by now, you snooze you lose.

That’s fine. The vaccine is available. They are making an informed/mis-informed personal decision. Open everything up on May 1.

Honestly, my state seems to have plenty of supply without it...

Gonna be honest, if I’m getting the vaccine the Johnson & Johnson one is my last choice. Only having to get one shot is good, but its effectiveness numbers seem to be well-below those of the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines.

I will pass on it just like I have passed on taking any of the rushed vaccines for a virus that has less than a 1% chance of killing me

Then let them take that risk

If everyone who wants to be vaccinated is given a chance to be vaccinated there's no good argument for locking down

Why is it silly in your opinion?

Was there honestly ever a good argument for locking down after the initial freak out?

It’s not at effective at stopping symptoms, but it’s barely any worse if worse at all at stopping severe cases and death.

To get the bad Orange man out of office so the military-industrial complex could start another war and so we could become energy dependent on the ME again. Both have happened in 30 days give or take

Locking down... not really. Limiting large, indoor gatherings...yes.
