I wouldn't think so. The only thing that changes each year is the strain of virus used, not any other part of the shot, right?

I have no idea. I've taken two flu shots my entire life and caught the flu twice. I haven't taken the flu shot in probably 15 years.

Regular flu vaccines (not-live) don’t have to submit any extra clinical data and just update a supplementary index into the package insert.

Live flu vaccines have to be studied in 300 adults.

Covid vaccine update being studied in 10 mice is more than the fda requires for the yearly flu update.
