What about the nut, who can’t get a gun in post gun control America, driving a vehicle into a crowd? Because that’s what the new thing will be. I think the number of mass murder deaths will increase with gun control - and I’m not against it. I think the reason for the second amendment has been obviated by technology. We can’t fight, with guns, a government that has nuclear weapons, and we darn sure are not going to let citizens own nukes.

While being fairly close does make a point the chance the reported statistic they showed suggesting blunt objects are higher than rifles is unlikely. Over 25% of the guns used in homicides were not characterized.

Im pro 2A and always will be. But its dishonest to suggest civilians have a true chance against the massive disparity in weapon technology.
The 2A was passed at the turn of the century in terms of weapon development. People owned galeons and cannons. It was meant for civilians to have the same types of weapons as their militaries.
That is simply not the case in a majority of instances. Even the militart grade arms civilians do have isnt enough to defeat an entire well trained army or naval deployment.
I agree with the spirit of the 2A, but in practicality the only thing keeping government in check is our votes.

You retard, a bump stock doesn't make a semi-automatic a full auto. Bump firing can be accomplished with a shoestring, rubber bands, or simply hooking the thumb of the firing hand into a belt loop. A drop-in auto-sear or a complete full-auto fire control group with a lower receiver machined to accept the parts is required to make an AR-15 full auto by definition.
