We've got a President's family doing this on a much larger scale, and there isn't even a one part story being done.
We've only spotted the tip of a massive moving iceberg with Biden and Hunter's dealings overseas.

This stuff doesn’t surprise me at all.
I used to hang out at a lake community near Hattiesburg that had a lot of doctors and other connected people around and there was a lot of talk about how Seedy the favres were. This goes back over 10 years.
He and Deanna would come around sometimes so I met them several times. He was kind of a prick. I never got past cursory hello with him. He would always be with his boys which looked like high school friends and other football type guys.
Years before all that, I played a lot of golf over at the beau virage course in Mississippi and Brett would play there in the off-season. He held a big “fund raising” tourny there with all the big name players and some celebrities. We’d go hang out…. Later I found out that there were some shenanigans going on with that deal including illegally playing at a casino golf course but Brett pushed his weight around to make it happen. There was question about the money raised too.
This is all 2nd hand stuff but after reading this article, it adds some credence to what I heard for years.

Illegal for who? Was Brett still a member of the Packers/Vikings/Jets?

I never understood why John Madden was so impressed with Favre as a QB.
I always thought the dude was overrated. He made some really dumb plays on the field.

So what did Favre do wrong?

He may be involved in some shady stuff off the field, I don’t know. To suggest he was overrated on the field is comical. He won three MVPs, completed 63% of his passes, threw for over 500 TDs and threw for 70,000. He played in 299 consecutive games in a period before they treated QBs with any delicacy, which is the real reason Madden loved him. He was not overrated.

Not understanding why Farve should be arrested based on this.
Its pretty evident that Favre worked with New to direct public funds to the Florida venture, as well as received money for work not completed.

Well, some folks in Minnesota might disagree with that assessment.
I recall him taking the Vikings right out of a SB appearance
with a stupid cross-field pass.

Man, some of those text messages in that article are downright comical.
"It's third and long!", "I'll open a hole", "He's not our type", etc.

He is a huge prick and always has his entourage following him around. My buddy loaned his fishing boat to a business partner and that guy took Favre and his idiots out on it. They got drunk, destroyed the boat and stole a bunch of shite off of it and then refused to make good on repairing it. It was juvenile shite like they took a filet knife and cut up the padded seats, stole a cooler and the GPS module, broke the head, shite like that.
My buddy ended up getting a check from the business guy after Favre told my friend to "frick off" once he got him on the phone.

Most Favre stories I heard were along the lines of “Yeah, I ran into him at the North End Zone the other night, literally pissing on the bar.”

Can I get the TL:DR version?
