Fireside Inn was a blast as a kid with the family...we used to always go with other families and would have a table the length of the restaurant
and House of Lee for the best Chinese food EVER!

Picadilly and Sambos. The picadilly that I remember looked like you were sitting on an old paddle boat as it had a panorama of a river...pretty damn cool for a 8 year old coonass!

I don't remember a Wesley's being there. I remember it next door to the Broadmoor Theater and Broadmoor Barber Shop and they had a great chopped beef po boy.
That Shopping Center was originally anchored by Shopper's Fair and had one of the first McDonalds. It also had a Lum's Hot Dogs which later was a Dairy Queen.

It definitely was. He sold the one in The Rebel to one of his brothers and the one in the Broadmoor to another brother.
