What was your favorite concert and venue?

I think mine was either Stevie Nicks at Jazz Fest or Chris Stapleton at Jazz Fest.

Kid rock was also a lot fun at Gretna Fest.

INB4 Garth Brooks’s earthquake concert.

Saw Bruce Hornsby play at a Wine Vineyard near Carmel for about 20 of us.

So that.

Pine knob near Detroit. It’s a pavilion setting with a grassy nole .

Saw The Eagles in Atlanta in 1994- Hell Freezes Over tour. Best show I ever saw- stopped concerts after that. there was no way to top that one.

Any pavilion stage that has grass to sit on. There’s one in the Woodlands that I like going to.

Hard to say, Great American Music Hall in San Francisco is the most beautiful. I loved the Chimes for nostalgia reasons back in circa 1985, saw so many good bands there. These days I love Granada Theater in Dallas since I can ride my bike there in 10 minutes but the sound isn't always great. The old Emo's in Austin was great too. Son's of Herman Hall in Dallas, an old texas dance hall w/ hardwood floors is another great venue but they don't have many shows there anymore. Three Links in deep Ellum probably has the best sound since a guy who was in a few of big local bands (Slick 57) married a rich girl and created that venue and spent a lot of money on the sound system.

Hollywood Bowl. Seen Beck & MGMT there, then Josh Groban, then Katy Perry and Taylor Swift (with my daughter).

Eta favorite concert was probably U2 at the Pond in Anaheim.
