Worst - some indian Dude that gave me a B in English lit. The ONLY B I ever got at LSU ( subtle summa cum laude brag)

Favorite: I forgot his name, but he taught Greek Mythology in the big auditorium in Lockett. I took him in the late 90's so he is likely dead now. I actually looked forward to his lectures
Bob Edgeworth?

To all those that were enrolled in the early eighties, I had freshman Physics with an older, heavy set gentleman, who wore horned rim glasses. He was awesome and I cant remember his name for nothing. Also I believe he taught Physical Science for SecEd majors.
Agree, the LA Hist class was great.

Ben fricking Martin for least favorite. I wouldn't spit on that man if he were on fire.
I liked his lectures but when I asked to be excused to miss an exam when my father died, he made me bring the obituary to prove I wasn't lying.
My favorites were Bill Clarke for Greek Mythology and Latin and Stanley Hilton for several history courses.

best: dr tague for anthro, dr larock for ocs, and the first astronomy prof whose name escapes me... wore a different space t shirt every day
worst was dr kesel for geomorphology. I had him the semester before he retired and he absolutely phoned it in. classes were 20 minutes max and he didn't show up to half of them with no prior notification. I would drive across town from work only to find a note on the door. he also didn't adjust the exams to not include the material he hadn't covered. still got an A but frick that guy.

Favorite: Sauley / Soderbergh
Least favorite: Peguin for Microeconomics. Dude was from France and had a serious accent. Only cool thing about the class was that Shaq, Mike Hansen and Lenear Burns were in there too.

Least Favorite: Gwen Zwyicke - Not a hard class. She's just a horrible person.
She's a feminist count; big time SJW
and I am glad I am not the only one who suffered through Hassan Ardakani

By far the worst professor I had in undergrad. Took his material way too seriously and could not grasp that most students were taking his foreign language class because we had to, not because we wanted to.
When I was in his class he would let these two kids argue in Spanish for half an hour, so you'd never actually learn anything.

were you in the section that he promised to drop a test grade, changed his mind during dead week, then proceeded to give an absolutely outrageous final (presumably due to the outcry) ?
Good times.

The history department had some great professors: C. Royster, S. Hilton, and W. Cooper.
Honorable mention- A geology professor (whose name escapes me, but he was short, had a beard and was from Illinois) took a boring subject and made it an awesome class.
Least favorite- C. Cooi

Favorites - Laura DeLaune even though she's a gump, had her for 3 classes. We kept up, but don't think I've spoken to her in over a year.
Least favorite - Augusto Nobile calc 1 he taught right out of the book and it was nearly impossible to understand that argentine, Linda Allen the bitch regraded my Chem lab final and lowered my grade to a B (89.something) keeping me off the Dean's list.

Ben Martin was actually my favorite professor, but I was a history major. He gave fantastic lectures, and I respected that he didn't cut any slack and expected a lot from his students.
That being said, what a pretentious a-hole that guy was. One time he missed class because he had to go out of town, and he made the class watch a video of clips of himself on the history channel.

I grew up going to the Latin Mass at St. Agnes with Dr. Edgeworth. Such a gentle soul, as I recall. I went to his home after he died. Star Trek stuff everywhere!
Loved Sauley
The Honors English profs were great, I had Kellman for symposium. Once he was in the lecture class, and another prof, Ian Keller I believe (Philosophy), started clipping his toenails while Kellman was lecturing. Thought he was gonna come unglued!
I actually liked Rousell because he didn't despise me like he did some people.
Does anyone remember Dr. Dehemcort (sp?) for Mass Comm? He was great. I overslept the final and he let me take it with the next section, while commenting how "tan and lovely" I looked

favorite teacher was john Henderson. He teaches Asian history. It said on his syllabus, "teacher has a neurological disease that prevents him from speaking audibly and writing legibly." The dude was such a nice man, and an easy grader. I ended up taking 12 hours of Chinese and Japanese history classes. When he would grade my blue book, I couldn't understand a thing he wrote. He was legit.

How can you hate either one of them? Mugnier embarrass you and make you take your hat off?
