He basically shot the dog because the human wouldn't listen to him. It was not even the guys dog. Here is the youtube video. The officer is a K-9 handler to boot!

Wow.

He will lose his job over this.

I have heard officers use dumb arse wording like acting in good faith to account for being complete fricking morons and causing their ownselves grief but there is absolutely zero that can be said as to why that was even necessary.

The dog can’t hurt anyone. What’s it gonna do? Bite his shoelaces or pants leg?

I support officers for the most part but that guy is a fricking POS

Yeah, Faulker County has taken down their facebook and twitter accounts. Hopefully public backlash gets this guy out of L.E. for good.

Probably unnecessary but the justification will be that the dog may attack him causing him to possibly lose focus on the suspect.

I wish there was a chihuahua season. Those little frickers are the most annoying dogs ever.

I live in Faulkner county

It’s the epitome of police industrial complex. The police is probably the biggest employer in town way too many with not shot else to do its middle class welfare

This calls for country justice if anything ever did. That’s a pure sadist right there and he needs to pay.
