They will eventually especially if the death toll is anywhere comparable to the World Wars.

What makes you think they will attribute those deaths to the causes you suggest?

quote:

Yeah, people are idiots, but they’re going to be thinking of brighter days when they can do whatever they wanted and eventually snap, especially if we come to the conclusion the lockdowns killed way more people than the virus did. I am a student of George Carlin, so you have a point, but I think we’re coming to the point of snapping.

I don’t think these lockdowns will continue on for 20 years. I’m saying looking back on this 20 years from now. Maybe 20 years from now we are living in world with less freedoms, but sadly people seem to be becoming ok with it. See many parts of this country and Europe.

quote:

How was Trump in charge of the world supply lines? People are indeed dumb, but this doesn’t hold water.

So many people already blamed Trump for everything so I don’t know why it’s baffling to you. But again, Americans don’t care much about the outside of the world. You’ll say people will care about the world death tolls, but that doesn’t mean they won’t blame Trump for deaths here in the US still.

quote:

Makes perfect sense doesn’t it?

Well we’re talking about how lockdown proponents, like Fauci, will be viewed decades from now. Let’s take a look at one year ago. Going into these lockdowns, people were saying it was going to be bad for economy and it would cause other issues so many Americans right? Even on the other side you had people that were agreeing that stuff will happen. But they were arguing that’s we need more lockdowns. To get this thing over as quickly as possible while saying lives.

You can point to the end results (millions of death and economic damage) but people’s interpretations of results can and do vary. Who or what they put blame on. What areas of damage they focus on is all different. We see this all over our politics. Results are the same but people put blame on different things.

You’re expecting them to connect lockdowns, people like Fauci, and China to being to blame. But they can just as easily say if we didn’t lockdown more people would have died. “It was a necessary thing. We didn’t lockdown hard enough which is why that’s why all damage happened due to the virus being prolonged.’” Remember in their minds, strict lockdowns means the virus goes away. So in their minds, if we had done what they said the virus would have been gone away much sooner or at least been slowed down sooner. So their line of thinking is because of people like you, all this damage you point out was done. In regards fo China, they’ll just say we should’ve still handled it better here.

I’m just trying to point out people don’t always see things the same way. A lot of things we see as restrictive here people in other parts of the country and world see as necessary and normal. If I told you 10 years ago how quickly so many people fell for this, you probably would’ve found it hard to believe because it would seem stupid to you.

In an unrelated story, Dr Fauci commended the Chinese for using bicycles at such a high rate, and went on record as saying Americans could eliminate all automobile accidents if we all ride bicycles.

The truth eventually reveals itself. It tends to find a way.

quote:

I’m not saying they will and understood that in your post. Again read into the Belt and Road Initiative (now about 18 years from coming to full fruition). It’s going to be a very rude wake up call to Americans. I bet you couldn’t tell me the biggest thing that happened in Alaska this year either.

quote:

You’re expecting them to connect lockdowns, people like Fauci, and China to being to blame.

Here’s what you don’t understand: China is going to make sure even the dumbest among us know that they’re in charge of the world now and to shut your mouths. There are a few dozen Chinese puppet states now. But before they tell us directly (even if they basically did it last month), they will hoodwink us. I’m sorry, but you clearly don’t understand what I’m saying, it would take pages of texts to explain it to you, and you don’t understand their endgame. China is thrilled about the mass deaths. 20 years from now when we no longer run the world, people will see Fauci as Enemy Number 1 and the most guilty person who sold our country to the CCP.

Ignoring China will not be an option soon enough. You asking me to accurately explain China to you is like asking a nuclear physicist to accurately explain rocket propulsion to you. Seriously, we’ll be going on for days here as I dismiss your ignorance on the general direction we’re heading. If you want to educate yourself on China (and it will take hours) watch Jamie Metzl, Mike Baker, and Josh Rogin in that order on Joe Rogan’s podcast. He’s been on a roll recently with China. People are in for such a rude awakening and it will be impossible to ignore.

With the shitty quality masks and the incorrect way people wore them, I find this hard to believe.

People stayed home more, minimal large gatherings etc. I'm sure that would prevent a lot of disease spread if we were willing to live like that indefinitely.

This.

If everyone never left their basement we’d see a drop in all contagious ailments

Plenty of Asian countries already do it to help keep infection spreads low during flu season. It's not like wearing a mask to the grocery store is some horrible inconvenience that is going to ruin your life.

So is this a preview of the next shifting of the goalposts? It’s not THAT inconvenient stop being so selfish!

Don’t believe the flu disappeared by just wearing a mask. You had to shutdown the world and fudge a few numbers to make the flu go away this season

And one of those Asian countries is China. Yeah, let’s emulate them. You know who doesn’t want us to emulate Asian countries? Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and India. Sorry, they know the stakes here even if most Americans don’t.

bullshite. The flu has not been nonexistent this past season. Health officials has been so giddy to release the number of COVID cases that they were not counting flu cases. They treat flu cases as COVID cases.

Went to the senior PGA golf tournament today in Birmingham.
Signs all around that said " masks required at all times"
Thankfully, almost 0% were wearing them.

Yep I’ve seen plenty of germaphobes saying how much they love the masks even without Covid because they don’t want to "breathe our nasty saliva" etc. People have become a bunch of pansy’s.
