To me what is scarier is how quickly people in all professions, ages, were quickly divided along political party lines on the advice.
Now we have similar immediate thought alignment with every issue e.g. Ukraine, Isreal/Palistine conflict, etc.

How much money did it cost to implement this for businesses? How many kids got mentally screwed up? The list goes on and on. Sort of appeared? Go F yourself you slime ball.
All high school and college kids who had their senior years ruined. Athletes who had their seasons cancelled, March Madness and College World Series participants. These are memories and experiences that can literally never be given back.
We stopped young healthy people from staying social and atop being healthy and active to stay home, sit on their arse to “protect” others

Lesson #5,487,899 that administrative government officials can’t be trusted to make these kind of decisions because their incentives do not align with the general public and they do not bear the burden of their own regulations.

…and nothing will be done in the name of accountability

Yup. Covid did more to divide the country than the fricking Civil war in terms of identity politics and how quickly people turn on each other when they don't share the same views and values.
What's stupid is every time something like this comes out and more and more people were right about Covid...not because they are genius level doctors, but simpy because they employed common sense back then...nothing happens. The idiots who sucked Fauci's dick back then don't turn around now and say "Yeah, I'm sorry, that was stupid of me." If anything, they double down with shite like "We just didn't know back then, so it was best to be safe!"
The very second they started picking and choosing which places could be open at night and which couldn't should've told you all you need to know back then about how "dangerous" this shite was. Oh, the casino can be open but a restaurant can't? Oh, you have to mask up at a restaurant but can take it off at your table? Oh, you can stand six feet from this person, but not five feet because that's dangerous. Most of it was pure bullshite at a very obvious level. Yet I was stupid for questioning it back then.

The recommendations essentially called for an effective months-long pause on educating tens of millions of children at their most impressionable ages so that we may have a slightly better chance of protecting the elderly and obese, who themselves had the agency to decide whether or not to be around younger people. An asinine recommendation by any sane measure, and the clearest evidence yet that our societal priorities are fricked.

You’d have to include initial cost of the government spending
+
Business losses
+
Employee lost wages
+
Inflationary costs related to printing money for those programs
+
Lost productivity
+
Employee wages for those fired for not taking vaccines and replacement costs
That’s just off the top of my head.

It was all a scam started by Big Sticker. Distancing stickers on every floor of every business. Bet they killed it for a year or so.

He must be penalized for the insurmountable harm he did to so many people. Rand Paul sniffed him out from the beginning. Hang him!

I have absolutely zero respect for anyone that went along with all the Covid bullshite. It was crystal clear very early on that it wasn’t really a big deal unless you were very old or extremely fat/had other co-morbidities. Bunch of fricking retards

Specific to your point, who remembers when Biden's mandatory Covid vax requirements did NOT include vax mandates for any member of Congress or the judicial branch and staffers? I sure TF do.

My personal favorite was KY governor Andy Beshear mandating boards and locks being put on basketball goals at the park so kids wouldn't congregate there. Furthermore he allowed the bullshite BLM protests that went wild in Louisville to take place with no mandates or social distancing, while simultaneously having police go to churches that refused to close and taking down license plate numbers of attendees

The Uniparty played Trump like a fiddle. Destroyed the economy he built (which they opposed every step of the way), impeached him when he pointed out their money laundering scheme in the Ukraine (enjoying that war?), then rigged the election to get him out.
Now, he's coming back for more.

It was based on allowing big box retailers to operate while shutting down small businesses.

For the life of me I can’t understand how fauci isn’t in prison.
All Fauci did was deliver his opinions.
It was the politicians, drunk on runaway power trips, who should be in jail.
Show me where the Mayor of Dicklessville USA has or ever had the power to close businesses ? Or tell them when they could operate, or that they could only serve food outside?

I see your Andy Beshear and raise you Gretchen Whitmer. She banned all types of vegetable and fruit seeds to be sold in stores and banned fishing from a boat that had any type of outboard motor.

Oh yeah, another favorite was when our local golf course put foam in the hole at each green so people didn't have to risk putting their hand in a potentially contaminated place.
