Mid 80s heading east on I-10 to Gainesville. I'm more of a laid back driver.

120. It was a nice car, not mine, that I was moving for a relative.
I lost my nerve at 120 after I saw a dog in a yard I passed. The thought that if that dog decided to run in front of me I'd likely be dead spooked me.

BMW Z3 roadster in about 2002
If I remember right it was about 125-130. Wasn't looking at the display much at that speed.

About 110 on the autobahn. Was very fun.

130ish in a car. 150 on a Ninja. The Ninja was in 1987, on Burbank, when it was almost newly constructed.

I had just bought my Mustang GT/CS and was driving through the Mojave Desert somewhere between Flagstaff and Albuquerque. It was the middle of the day and there was no wind blowing, no other vehicles anywhere in the road. Nothing but flat, empty land for miles in any direction so I punched it.
I later found that my Mustang can top out ~150. What I found out that day was:
1. The car began to get a "floating" feeling ~125.
2. I could handle that floating feeling only up to ~132.

140mph on hwy167 north of Ruston. 70mph in a boat was WAY scarier.

120 - 130ish range one time

125 will never do it again

I can’t drive 55. Ninety miles an hour is the speed I drive

Around 135 on the Autobahn back in 2004 in an Audi. Had my wife and daughter in the car with me and it felt like we were doing 90 it was so smooth. My wife didn't realize we were going that fast until I told her.
In the US, my top speed was about 125 back in 2012 somewhere in KY on my way to LSU/Auburn game (from OH) in my BMW 328.

About 115. I was thinking of all the bad things that could happen and slowed down

I had the worlds fastest car (a rental) and was driving from Gallup NM to Salt Lake City...at 2 am. I theoretically did 130 and never closed in on the tail lights some distance ahead of me..i don't know how long we maintained it but..pretty much NM into corner of CO into/through SE Utah. Also just watched the radio seek a channel for the same amount of time. You lose sense of speed when you don't have pine trees right off the edge of the road

120 between Natchez and Tallulah. Middle of night could see if car coming by light. When realized if deer steps out I was dead slower way down. Young and stupid.

155, hitting the rev limiter, while driving on the A81 between Heilbronn and Wuerzburg.
Normal cruising speed on that stretch was 120.

140 on the autobahn. People were still flying by me in the left lane

The reason I don't believe you is because of the 5 mile window... You remember the actual #.
Mine is 119 because I couldn't hit 120
