Giraffes are mostly tall because of their necks. So the p* isn’t as high as you’d think.

The only good deals I see now are Wendys 4 for $4 and the Arby's 2 for $7. I used to like to get a sub sandwich every now and then (Potbelly's, Jersey Mike's, Firehouse, etc) but they have all gone collectively insane,

My go-to now for meals on the go is the Publix prepared food station. A veggie plate (4 side dishes) is $4.99. On Wednesday Sushi is $5. And there's a weekly special on large subs for 7 or 8 bucks. And their subs are really good. I can park, run in, grab my meal and whisk through self checkout in less time than it takes me to sit in a non-Chik-fil-A drive through waiting for understaffed morons to miss up my order.

Friend,

A Big Mac meal in 1980 was $2.59. Adjusted for inflation, that would be $10.15 today. Fast food costs, excluding the exorbitant Cane’s, have not changed terribly much when adjusted for inflation the last 40 years. Grocery prices today, though are significantly less than they were back then. You may consider trying to eat a vegan diet as I have the last two weeks. It is how our bodies were designed to eat, and I feel great! Definitely, though, it would benefit your health to stop eating fast food.

Yours,

No reason to eat a fast food hamburger when you live in a city that has Mason's Grill, Riverside Patty, and Brew-Bachers. It's basically the same price and not even any slower if you call ahead.

2021 called, this has been a thing. I paid $30 to feed three kids bullshite Chik Fil A last week.

My kids know that we only go to places we have coupons for or we're getting Biggie Bags from Wendy's.
We're poor

any of the OT “Centrists” been in this thread to tell you all that you are stopping at the wrong fast food place and that where they get their fast food is significantly cheaper?

The taco bell chipotle grilled chicken burrito is $2 and might be the best thing on menu

2 of those and I am full

Boom! That is my jam when being a poor fast food fatty. You can add extra chicken to both less than $2 more and it's a legit LOT of food for under $6.

Going to a few local grocery stores for their deli plate lunches is what I’m doing more of now.
Can get a nice plate of food $9!or less and I always include veggies as a side

Wendy's $5 Double Stack biggie bag FTW.

I don't even go to Mcdonald anymore. Then having up the menu price of a drink and forcing you to use a "deal" for the $1 (so you can't use the other in-app deals) was the last straw.
