Just like there's lots of Muslim people who aren't committing crimes "in the name of Allah" as you seem to be implying here. I guess all the stuff about being treated for severe mental problems his whole life is completely irrelevant since he's Muslim.

I'm the first to blame a muslim on it like many others by reading the op title, but reading that letter definitely changes things. Even if it was done in the name of "allah" then it was still a mental issue that drove him to do it. Not a typical mentally healthy muslim that did it.
If it holds up of course...
