re: F250 front end wobbling when I hit bumps

As a couple have said previously, it's commonly called "death wobble. Originates with the fact that you have a solid front axle. Find a nearby 4x4 shop. If you can find one that works on jeeps a lot, they'll be most like to help. It won't be cheap though.

track bar is a common culprit on SFA trucks.

Death Wobble is common on Ford F250s

All death wobble links...

Just Google your specific vehicle and "death wobble." It is not rare in vehicles with solid front axles, and that shite is dangerous. Be careful until you figure out the problem.
Luckily, you know how to test it. Change something...hit your unavoidable hole...
setup go pro...wear helmet... $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

No it's just stock I use it as a work truck on the farm.

It will damn near throw me off the road and have to slow down under 40 mph to make it stop. Rides fine unless I hit a bump a certain way.
Same thing happened to me about 2 months ago. Doing about 70 on I-10 and hit a rough spot and the entire front of the truck and steering wheel starting shaking out of control. Had to drop my speed to less than 50 to make it stop. Had a long drive ahead and gradually went back up to 70 and 75. Nothing happened. Read up on it and there is a speed window where this can happen if you hit a bump or bumps large enough to start the wobble. Once it starts, the wobble itself keeps getting worse even if the road is perfectly smooth. The only way to stop it is to drop the speed.
Took my F250 to discount and had them make sure tires were balanced. So, no belt separations which could cause a shake. Apparently while some ball joints that are bad are easy to spot if truck is off the ground and you put some leverage on them... some are bad that don't appear to be bad. I had 130K on my 2013 so I went ahead and changed them. That did the trick for me. Not hard but a pain in the arse.

Flooring it stopped the wobble faster on mine. It was as bad as the guy on YouTube in the blue 6.0

Start at the tires and work your way in. That would put ball joints almost first.
Think about it, nothing would shake if the tire wasn't shaking. And the shake is caused by the TIRE hitting an obstacle.

IF you had the rack and pinion replaced, something wasn't right. F250's don't have rack and pinion, they have a recirculating ball setup, i.e. steering box.
If the truck is stock, and you've replaced everything you said you have, the only thing left are ball joints. Get them replaced.
If you've changed the ride height and/or wheel offset, all bets are off.

If he got a lift, it would've come with a dropped Pitman arm, because Ford has their drag link at a bad angle compared to the track bar. Raising it would immediately cause problems, so the lifts come with dropped Pitman arms.
It's just worn out joints

It is usually the ball joint that connects your traction bar to your frame. The ball joint is about 80 bucks at the Ford dealership, but its a PITA to change. There are aftermarket death wobble elimination kits online that sell for about 800 bucks. Those kits eliminate that ball joint.

I had that issue on my Jeep recently. It was bad. I thought it was "death wobble" but turned out to be a tire that was going bad and I couldn't see the spot on it while it was on the vehicle. I changed the tire and all that stopped.

I'm not the one that had it done. I had to put my normal truck I use in the shop and this is a backup one. The mechanics at our shop did the work before I got in it and I'm just repeating what they said but they probably used the wrong word for it. They did say they did not replace the ball joints on it so that's likely it even though I checked them and there is no play in it at all. Everything else under there looks new and I replaced the steering stabilizer myself but that didn't work

My Dad bought a brand new 1975 Ford XLT Explorer ( Truck ) that did that. Dealer never could get the front end fixed. He eventually traded it in.

Has to be ball joints. I called the dealership they had the work done at and they said everything was replaced except ball joints and steering stabilizer. They said death wobble can't be fixed cause they have some they've replaced the entire front end on and they still do it. I'm assuming they're just stupid

I was expecting this response tbh
It's impossible on these country roads though
