He's not saying anything that isn't true of just about every major university, the level of racism that most other races have to accept and deal with when they go to places like LSU , Texas,Bama, Miss. etc can be daunting especially when you are there with others whose families can look back on generations that have attended and feel like it's there God given right to be there and we as minorities are infringing on that right and don't belong .

F King continues to disparage LSU

This is what the libs do after they destroy everything, Blame others. And you better believe Tate will do the same when he leaves.

Isn't there a higher % of black students at LSU than there are black people in the United States?

This guy is such a lying sack of shite

ETA:

Not sure who is downvoting me, it's basically even (not higher, but I wasn't far off):

12% black students at LSU

13% black in the US

God forbid people want the state's flagship unvirsity to admit/ deny people based on merit rather than on skin color. We must truly be relics of the antebellum and Jim Crow eras.

Alexander attributed his unpopularity in the later years of his tenure at LSU to his decision to implement holistic admissions standards on campus, which increased student diversity.

his unpopularity in later years was tied to vetoing the firing of les miles

his current issues are related to...backing les miles after sexual harassment claims were issued and settlements were made

Yeah, he's literally an unhinged SJW. Louisiana is 1/3 black.

Like Vermont, Kansas, or Maine?

Having said that, LSU has super, duper bent the knee now and past the point of no return. My assessment has nothing to do with "diversity", which is not a per se virtue as the left supposes, neither it is inherently a bad thing.

Diversity as a substitute for innovation, merit or actual, measurable progress, is virtue-signaling and pandering of the absolutely most worthless, morally/ethically bankrupt sort, ever.

Does he have any data? Or are we just relying on his representation of his experience?

I’ve never seen someone as disliked by everyone from students to professors to other administrators to alumni as F King was at LSU. Literally from the very beginning everyone who had dealings with him came away with a negative impression.

What pisses me off here is LSU prior to his arrival was finally steady on the upswing. Okeefe was doing good things.

Then f king comes in, the rankings tank, he changes admission standards, rankings continue to tank, causes title 9 issues, rankings continue to tank and is finally fired. Then has the gall to blame the people in the state who support the university.

white exceptionalism

Lol, so like being white and becoming the president of a huge State School?

Lets look at the athletics part too. LSU provides a direct route to becoming a millionaire for many black men. And as a school that pumps money into and cares about our athletic programs being exceptional... Ii this then not black exceptionalism?

I also wonder what hed say if LSU just sucked at sports and he wasnt getting the millions from the Athletic department? Wouldnt that have made it even harder for him without those funds? Or the fact LSUs larger enrollment numbers have come after winning a national title...
