Agree. Makes you wonder why the good Lord allows it.

It’s amazing how some cancers are not really a big deal anymore because of treatments and others are a death sentence.

Stories like this are why I can’t understand people who donate money to retard causes instead of things like cancer research and things to help sick kids like this

Leukemia is one of the scariest forms of cancer imaginable. My dad was diagnosed with it at the end of May 2017. I can't relate to you how stressful of a time that was for me. I thought I was about to lose my father, the man who I loved more than anyone else on the planet. Thank God he pulled through and is 100% cancer free in the present day. He had another Leukemia scare, however, this past week which turned out to be (thankfully) an autoimmune disorder. I was so terrified that we were about to go through it all over again.

I really hate it for this father. I can't imagine what he's going through.

As a father of a 3 year little girl that just reached one year of remission this month from AML, my heart truly goes out to this family. During our 8 months of inpatient treatment, we unfortunately had to see when some children didn’t have the ever so fortunate outcome we had with our baby girl. It’s truly soul-crushing to witness a family have to go through what they have gone through. May God be with that child and with his family.

This makes my heart hurt. So young and undeserving of this. RIP to such a great Sooner for Life!

As you know and what others should know on here is that Bob Stoops was and is still very active with going to the Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. He did it ever since he arrived in Norman in 1999. He did it without cameras. It was his getaway that was never announced. The man has brought so much joy to the kids and parents. He is a great ambassador.

My son was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on Christmas morning in 2007. He was admitted to St jude‘s Children’s Hospital the next day to begin three years of treatment. Thankfully, we caught the cancer early and his treatment was successful. My son just celebrated his 20th birthday.

Leukemia is scary with how unpredictable it is in children. We made and lost so many friends during our journey. My heart breaks for all the parents who have lost a child to cancer.

My wife's co-worker just started radiation for Squamous Cell Carcinoma, which is the same cancer that my dad had. Please send prayers.

I just finished up all my chemo for stage 4 metastatic prostrate cancer. No cure. The chemo just bought me a little more time on earth. Doc says I got 12-18 months. Just made 61. Mentally and emotionally I am at peace with the situation. Tying up loose ends to make things as easy as possible on my wife and kids

My daughter has been fighting the fight against Pre B ALL for the last 2 years. We are extremely thankful it was caught early and she will be done treatment very shortly but being in children's hospital and seeing the families who aren't as fortunate is absolutely devastating.

Prayers for this young mans family in this trying time are definitely going up.
