I'm seeing reports that their may have been two explosions. One in the port, one in the interior of the city

Supposedly near the port/an oil storage facility.

Seems similar to the massive explosion in a Chinese storage area years ago. That was a smaller first explosion that caused a second massive explosion IIRC.

That was a nuclear-esque explosion on a smaller scale. Holy shite.

It has to be a large bomb or missile of some kind

Cmon baw.

Most likely it's a chemical explosion as a result of negligent storage or something like that.

Explosion at a warehouse in a port in Beirut, Lebanon. Very little is know but some local news channels are reporting it was a nitrate storage facility.

Would love to know what stuff the red cloud after the explosion is made of.

Wow, in that first video it looks like some kind of grain elevator. Possibly on fire? I remember one of those exploded in Galveston when I was a kid, rattled everything for miles around.

Will add.

And yeah it seems to be a storage facility of some kind so it is likely that.

Forgive me, that was such a crazy explosion and its the middle east. I just assumed...

If it was a bomb, probably caused by humans
