Jesus. Imagine you are doing everything right in your job and something like this happens and you have no control of what someone else did or did not do.
This is frightening.

Those pictures define the term blown to smithereens.

I highly doubt smoking is allowed anywhere close to that place.

I'm ignorant here, what do they build there that would blow up that well? I was picturing a small arms facility? Its not THAT big of a building so I'm assuming they weren't building something like 500 lb bombs
You can go to their website and see. Says they are a woman owned company and dedicated to diversity.

I am sure someone is doing this already, but if you know the size of the crater you can back out the magnitude of the explosion in lbs/tons of equivalent tnt.
Given the nature of the explosion I am surprised to see as many trees still standing though.

Well at least when you are standing in line with the decision if it's heaven or hell you can use the subtle brag but did you have body parts land in three different states.

Not going against the statement on their website. But the owner(s) is easily searched and being minority owned when doing government contracts is a cheat code.

Exact same way I’d set up my explosives company. If you know you know….. access to exclusive funding, grants, and tax incentives, increased visibility and access to federal and private contracts.

I'm just shocked for safety reasons something this big could blow up.
It's not uncommon. It doesn't take a cigarette or fire. Static is dangerous as hell dealing with products that are explosive.

Beyonica Holt, whose residence is located roughly 15 miles from the factory, said she 'thought we were at war' and that 'I was going to die.' 'I was standing in my bedroom. It shook the whole house. I thought it was going to blow out my windows - it didn't, but that's how big it was,' she told The Tennessean.
Now that is a powerful blast.
