We live in south LA, it is rarely cold enough to require more than a vest

They’re perfect for days in the 40’s, especially if you’re going to be active outside. If you know, you know.

I think they are drinking too many soy lattes since they spend so much time judging men's fashion.

Sure seems to be the case. Perhaps shitter should mind his own little business.

I am not judging.
I truly do not get why you would not want sleeves.
Apparently its for people who work outside. I do not work outside at anything where I couldn't wear a jacket. Issue solved.

The weird over the top "defense" of something that doesn't make a whole lot of sense on the surface is awesome though.

i love my vest for days in the 50s. Keeps the core warm and i look like a fly fisherman

Warmest thing you will ever wear!

A vest is easy to throw on over a button-down shirt and keeps you somewhat warmer, without wrinkling your long sleeves. I never understood a vest until a year ago but now wear one at the office all the time. Arc'teryx Covert for me. With a polo or t-shirt I just use a pullover instead.

I wear them mostly for running and might start with my arms a little cold, but warm up fast. If my core is warm it keeps the rest warm.

Let's say you are a major league pitcher that needs to pitch in the wintertime. If you were a regular coat your arms are constricted and you won't be able to bring the heat. In this vest you can still fling it.

Calvin Klein rocked this look.
