Who does that?
I’ve been going to Buccee‘s for years and yes to the one in Foley and no matter how crowded it is I am able to get in and out without delay. I must be superhuman.

The first time I went to the one in Foley, I got caught in the traffic. Then I figured out they all have two entrances. It's not that hard. I seldom buy gas at the one in Auburn and I'm in and out pretty quick. Never really had a problem, other than that one time in Foley.

I live a few miles from a Buccees but they dont sell anything that will make me want to walk in. When I am on the road I will hit a Buccees if the wife needs to pee or if I want a reasonably priced bbq sammich but all those snacks are trash. The crowds can get ridiculous because no one wants to be around truck drivers, which is understandable once you get a whiff of the BO in a Love's

While it tastes good, their jerky is way too dry and my jaw is soar after gnawing on a couple pieces. Count me out on the jerky, but there’s plenty else to like there.

Because it doesn’t have a bunch of added sugar and preservatives like jack links or other big jerky companies

Screw spending an hour at the Foley Buccee's

If you spend an hour at Buccees its by choice. There are 150 pumps 50 toilets and 30 cashiers.
There is also 0 attitudes when checking out. Its actually a pleasant, quick experience which is one of the main reasons it is so popular. Not everything that has hype is overrated, this being one of those instances.

You sure about that?

That’s a pretty long list of ingredients, baw. It includes sugar and preservatives among other things.

This reminds me of some graffiti I saw many years ago (but still rings true)

People will tell you the jerky, and they’re not wrong, but the blueberry cheesecake ice-cream pop is one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. It’s in the coolers close to the front registers.

What is your go to there?

I brave it just for the clean bathrooms alone. Places like Loves, Pilot, and the like are always so freaking gross I want to throw my shoes away after. Makes me jealous of my dogs who are allowed to go outside in the grass.

During the summer months it gets pretty hairy at Buccee’s. The one outside Mobile on the way to Gulf Shores will give you PTSD late May to August.

The car wash in Huntsville is the most Buccees car wash ever. Way overblown and entertaining.
