If you actually got the divorce and a child custody ruling as you describe, then she is violating it. If you contest that and you are straight up, she'll be in trouble. Only way to do it is thru the courts though and from your writing I can tel you aren't the person to handle such actions on your own. Sorry, bud, you're gonna need an attorney....Or one of your "kins who got some real smarts". Does that make sense?

In Alabama that's a felony and she can be arrested for it. Research it (or ask your lawyer) and then lower the BOOM!

Are you divorced....officially? If so, you have a divorce decree that outlines every detail about the concerns listed in your OP. I mean , damn dude. You paid $800 according to you, to an attorney for something. That is the typical price for an uncontested divorce which is what it sounds like you agreed to. So do you have a divorce decree or not?

If so, get your documentation in order. Journals, photos of the boyfriend living with her, witnesses, etc. and get your arse to the magistrate court to file a suit holding her in contempt of court. A hearing will be set up where you can present your grievance to the judge. Use the time between now and the time she is issued a summons to appear to gather evidence. Immediately write down any details of incidents that have occurred up until now that you can clearly recall. Do that now. As in tonight. Do not tell her what you are doing. The first she hears of this is when she gets the summons. She will freak out on you and attempt to guilt you into canceling the hearing and perhaps even try to placate you with assurances and promises of better relations. I would not discuss the hearing with her or what to expect from the outcome. Be civil and discuss only arrangements to care for the kids. Do everything you are required to do according to the decree. And I hope that you are current on any child support that she was awarded. If not....drop this altogether and get caught up there or this will turn around on you in a bad way.

It's really not that hard for an intelligent....reasonable....and logical person to navigate but you have written a few things that make me question your ability to handle this on your own. Perhaps you should go ahead and hire an attorney. They are there to assist people like you navigate this process.

Never say this to anyone if you love your kids. Be grateful for every second you spend with them.

You will need an attorney!
If you refuse, at your own risk, You could have your custody orders in hand and have the Sherrif's department remove the children from her.
A court would hold her in contempt though if you do choose to get a lawyer

Is being able to see your kids and at least be some sort of father to them not worth $800 to you?

A lawyer told you "if she said it, she has to do it" without a written agreement? Was that lawyer named Barry Zuckercorn?

It's certainly not worded in the best way, but it's a legit point. If you're expecting to not have your kids weekend A and have em weekend B, but the wife calls the shots and says otherwise, that's throwing off plans that may have already been made.
