She didn't get off that easy. You left off a significant part of that article

Her plea deal in St. Charles requires Naquin to pay a fine of $500 and comply with the terms of her active probation in Jefferson Parish, where she pleaded guilty to carnal knowledge of a juvenile as well as prohibited sexual contact. Her probation in Jefferson is for five years, and she will be forced to registered as a sex offender for 15 years.

Compared to a guy doing this? You realize guys go to jail for looking at pictures of teenage girls for years and have to register for life.
I'd say she got off with a slap on the wrist.
I just don't get it. Why can't these people wait til they're 18? I mean shite. Why throw away your life for some poon when you could just frick an 18 year old?

Something similar just happened a week or so ago in a small town in Arky. The high school softball team's new coach was a very young female, around 25-26, and she got caught having a fling with one of the players. It didn't end very well, though, not even as well as this.
Evidently, the girl's parents or school found out about the coach messing with her & informed the police. The police went to question the young female coach about it, and the next morning, she shot & killed herself. Apparently, she had a history of this type of thing because she'd been fired for it from her previous job which happened to be her first job out of college (she didn't get prosecuted), yet, this dumbass school board chose to hire her anyway, but considering who & where it is, surprises me none. Now, there's a huge 'story' that won't go away for quite a while, if ever, in that small school/town; the softball team is devastated right in the middle of their supposedly great season; and one of the players is left to be the subject of endless rumors & bs.
Shitty thing for the cowardly "coach" to do (suicide), & shitty that the idiots on the school board hired her, but the biggest travesty is that she wasn't prosecuted before & stripped of her creds; none of this would've happened if she had been.

Does her sister happen to work for a construction company?
