Great Scott!

Ask Venus, he will know why this is and explain it in terms we can all understand

anyway to use that to go back in time, oh...say about 9 months

You tell me why it matters other than to spend money and write an article that they will likely reverse themselves on in a few months.
Do you understand basic science research. Like.. at all? Discoveries or observations are made all the time that dont have any real world applications for decades or longer and can seem inconsequential to most at the time of discovery. This observation is basically just a interpretation of a cool quantum phenomenon that adds a tiny bit to our knowledge . The articles about it are clickbaity but it doesnt detract from research itself.

So what? Thats how science is supposed to work . If scientist and observers of the natural world throughout history didnt change their minds we would still be living as we did 10000 years ago.

As a lay person, I read this as totally nonsensical and inconsequential.
If all humans had thought like you we would be living in caves at best and more likely extinct. What is more amusing is you are posting from a device that was built on the backs of many "discoveries" in quantum mechanics that you would have thought nonsensical and inconsequential at the time people were poring over the questions.

photons, wave-particles of light, can spend a negative amount of time zipping through a cloud of chilled atoms. In other words, photons can seem to exit a material before entering it.
Sounds like a measurement problem.

So at what point should we stop pursuing knowledge? Space shite? Like satellites we use to communicate and protect our country?
Well using your illustration an example those same communication Satellites
Can be used two wage war can be used to broadcast propaganda can be used to gather information to control other people
I mean I understand it that we see this chance to make the world better safer with these discoveries inventions
but its a false god ,, technology and the lifestyle that comes with it, very much the age we all live in As much as we get blinded by all it brings us with it also comes the downside the separation from people actually sitting around the campfire the loss of community look at porn and how it's ruined sexual development ... were all guilty and victims at the same time
that's what sin does harms the sinner and those around them
I know why we do it
I understand there is merit in it we really think we are making it better
it's just that when man, Humankind,
is led by men, humans.
Then the weakness of humans that every man has in them all the vices/sin when those win out it
And the advancement of science and technology and all these things were doing from getting down to the atoms and pieces of matter that God used in creation .. We aren't smart enough to manage that knowledge and sooner or later bad people will take that knowledge and try to use it to control those around them and eventually ends it all

I agree with this.

“It took a positive amount of time, but our experiment observing that photons can make atoms seem to spend a *negative* amount of time in the excited state is up!”
Uhh, what? That doesn't seem like very much "evidence" of negative time when the first words out of her mouth are "It took a positive amount of time".

Cancer and different forms of dementia and other debilitating diseases are rampant, but these guys are having a circle jerk over this “discovery.”
How do you think radiation therapy for diseases like cancer were developed....physicist starting 1000's of years ago making small, "inconsequential" at the time, discoveries over many, many years.

Is this a math thing?
Or is it something observable and concrete?
If the math says this, couldn't it just be an error?

It comes with a downside for individuals at this point in time.
It advances the species as a whole.
We live in amazing time precisely because we are the guinea pigs. We will always be the guinea pigs.

And I'm not saying anything this is not my theory this is just something that a lot of great thinkers that have come before me based upon the Bible and observing man and how man can corrupt things even when they have the best of intentions
because knowledge is good and evil
and mankind is imperfect/flawed
gives us enough time we'll frick it up
not on purpose. we will always be able to convince ourselves
we can get it right
but we are flawed

It means we observed this in positive time. We obviously cannot view an action that happened in the past unless we view it through other means.
It's the same with other quantum phenomenon.
We have observed particles existing in two places at the same time.
If you want something interesting that shows this, check out wave-particle duality.
Particles are also in multiple places at once until they are observed.
