Humans have always invented Gods to explain the unexplainable.

I wish there was a God. An omnipotent being watching over me and giving me comfort. It would be to good to be true.

Why would something random convince you that there is a god?

That's what I believe. I don't know if I'm supposed to believe that, though.

People like you make it difficult not to think religious people are morons. I still manage, but difficult nonetheless.

The fact that fingerprints are unique is completely explainable

It gonna be a real sad moment when they stand before God and say “Well, if you exist, why didn’t you tell me?”

Then God brings up this thread they responded to

On the off chance there is a god, I hope it concerns itself more with how I’ve lived my life than whether I believed in its existence. Otherwise, it didn’t deserve worship, anyway.

Yep. If there's a god and it sends people to some version of hell solely because they didn't believe in said god, then that's a god that I want nothing to do with.

My motto: Believe what you want—Allah, Jesus, Ganesh, etc,— just leave everyone else alone.

I don’t care enough to even discuss it with you.

He wasn't trying to discuss it with you so your post is odd.

Good luck telling Him that, Mr. Smartypants. Big talk.

He loves you, yet you reject Him and his path to salvation. What do you expect of Him? Overlook sin completely? He already provided a way to forgiveness. You just don’t want it.

You mean serving the Lord and having a personal relationship with Him? The whole point is you choose His purpose and His will. It’s not mine.
